Bringing a Vision to Life

Not every project begins with a problem. Some begin with an idea.

When this landlord asked us to install plumbing for a shared laundry area, we walked into one of the oldest basements we've ever worked in. It had a dirt floor, exposed stone walls, and enough spider webs to convince most people to turn around and head back upstairs. Laundry wasn't the first thing that came to mind.

But the landlord had a vision.

Working with that vision, we installed new water supply and drain lines to serve two sets of washers and dryers, creating the infrastructure for a future laundry room that would provide a valuable amenity for every tenant in the building.

We recently caught up with the owner, who told us he followed through on the plan by pouring a concrete pad and installing the washers and dryers. What once looked like an unlikely location now provides a convenient laundry space for the people who call the building home.

Browse the photos below to see how a little imagination, careful planning, and quality plumbing helped turn an old basement into something genuinely useful.
